Gorilla's Max Strength Clear is our STRONGEST construction adhesive, combining the strength and versatility you have come to expect from the brand with a crystal clear, easy to use, and non-foaming formula. Designed for All Surfaces and All Purposes, this adhesive bonds effortlessly to Glass, Mirrors, Ceramic, Stone, Landscaping, Decks, Subfloor, Drywall, Trim, Paneling, Foam board, Laminate, Tile, Wet Surfaces, Fiberglass, Tub & Shower, Marble, Granite, Wood, and Flooring.
To open the adhesive, first unscrew and remove the nozzle from the top of the cartridge, set the nozzle aside, and then cut the hard plastic tip of the cartridge above the threads. Replace the nozzle once this is done.
When using the adhesive, ensure all surfaces are clean and free of dirt, grease, and oil. For best results, use the adhesive in temperatures above 40°F. Cut the nozzle at a 45° angle to achieve the desired bead size, insert the cartridge into a caulking gun, and apply the adhesive in a zig-zag pattern or along the inside perimeter of the object. Be mindful of any squeeze-out, and when working on rough, uneven surfaces, use enough adhesive to fill any gaps.
Within 10 minutes of application, firmly press the surfaces together. The adhesive is repositionable for up to 30 minutes. Note that heavy items may require temporary support, and it is recommended to use the adhesive in conjunction with mechanical fasteners when hanging large mirrors.
