This Ultimate formula of our most durable construction adhesive is tough, versatile, and 100% waterproof. Notably, it even works under water. Instantly grabbing, it is easy to dispense and paintable, holding in just 30 seconds. Boasting a flexible, shrink-proof formula, it can fill gaps effectively. This heavy-duty adhesive bonds a wide range of materials, including wood, drywall, plaster, ceramic, concrete, masonry, and foamboard.
To open the adhesive, first unscrew and remove the nozzle from the top of the cartridge. Set the nozzle aside, then cut the hard plastic tip of the cartridge above the threads. Replace the nozzle afterwards.
For application, ensure all surfaces are clean and free of dirt, grease, and oil. Best results are achieved when used above 40°F. Cut the nozzle at a 45-degree angle to obtain the desired bead size, then insert it into a cartridge gun. Apply the adhesive in a zig-zag pattern or along the inside perimeter of the object, being mindful of any squeeze-out, especially when working on rough, uneven surfaces - use enough adhesive to fill any gaps. Within 10 minutes, firmly press the surfaces together. Note that heavy items may require temporary support, and mechanical fasteners should be used when hanging large mirrors.
For storage, Gorilla Heavy Duty Construction Adhesive Ultimate is best kept in a cool, dry location with the nozzle attached and filled with adhesive. The leftover adhesive in the nozzle acts as a seal for the adhesive in the cartridge. To reuse the product, remove the nozzle and remove the cured adhesive from the tip. Do not freeze the adhesive.
